Gare de Schleif

Le tronçon de la ligne de chemin de fer de Kautenbach à Wiltz a été ouvert le 1er juin 1881.

Le 1er juillet 1888, la partie Wiltz – frontière belge est ajoutée. Comme les Belges avaient déjà terminé leur partie de la frontière à Bastnach le 18 juillet 1887, l’intégralité de l’itinéraire pouvait désormais être parcourue jusqu’à Bastnach.

La route fut définitivement fermée le 23 septembre 1967. La piste cyclable Wiltz-Schleif a été inaugurée le 1er août 1986.

The section of the railway line from Kautenbach to Wiltz was opened on June 1, 1881.

On July 1, 1888, the part Wiltz – Belgian border was added. Since the Belgians had already completed their part from the border to Bastnach on July 18, 1887, the entire route could now be traveled to Bastnach.

The route was definitely closed on September 23, 1967. The Wiltz-Schleif cycle path was inaugurated on August 1, 1986.
