Gare de Winseler
Les premiers projets de chemin de fer au Luxembourg datent de 1845. La ligne de Luxembourg à Ulflingen (Troisvierges) via Kautenbach le 15 décembre 1866
mis en service.
Le tronçon de la route de Kautenbach à Wiltz a été ouvert le 1er juin 1881 et 1er juillet 1888 Wiltz – La frontière belge est ajoutée. Pendant cette dernière période aussi la gare Winseler a été construite.
Puisque les Belges avaient déjà terminé leur partie de la frontière à Bastnach le 18 juillet 1887 pouvait maintenant être parcourue jusqu’à Bastnach.
La station Winseler a été convertie en station inoccupée le 1er janvier 1965.
En septembre 1967, le trafic ferroviaire est interrompu. La piste cyclable de Winseler à Schleif a été inauguré le 1er août 1986. (Photos: SIW, Ch.L. Mayer, SIW, Jos Schoettert)

The first plans for a railway in Luxembourg date back to 1845. The line from Luxembourg to Ulflingen (Troisvierges) via Kautenbach on December 15, 1866
put into operation.
The section of the route from Kautenbach to Wiltz was opened on June 1, 1881 and July 1, 1888 Wiltz – Belgian border was added. During this last period too the Winseler train station was built.
Since the Belgians had already completed their part from the border to Bastnach on July 18, 1887 could now be traveled all the way to Bastnach.
Winseler station was converted to an unoccupied station on January 1, 1965.
