Malgré son nom, rien n’a été vu du Moulin de Gruemelscheid depuis les années 1920. Sur la carte Ferraris (Photo 1) des années 1771-1776 environ, le moulin est déjà marqué avec certaines dépendances. Il était déjà mentionné au XIVe siècle. Au cours de ses dernières années, le moulin a été loué mais n’est plus correctement entretenu. En 1915, il était déjà tombé en ruine et en 1920, il n’en restait plus rien.
Le moulin se tenait entre le chemin et le chalet (sur la gauche à partir de ce point) sur un canal de moulin spécialement créé. La place et le canal sur lesquels se trouvait le moulin sont maintenant comblés (Photo 2).

Despite the name, nothing has been seen of the Grümelscheider Mühle since the 1920s. On the Ferraris map (Picture 1) from around 1771-1776, the mill is already noted along with some outbuildings. It was already mentioned in the 14th century. During its last years the mill was leased but no longer properly maintained. By 1915 it had already fallen into disrepair and by 1920 there was nothing left of it.
The mill was standing between the path and the cottage (on the left from this point) on a specially created mill canal. The square and the canal on which the mill stood are now filled in (Picture 2).
